Cars 3 is just ok, except for when it’s not.
Despicable Me 3 is a tired, stale, scattershot mess of a film that I’d be more forgiving of if, like the other entries in this series, it were actually funny.
Very smart about being very dumb, Sausage Party expertly mixes low-brow shock humour and puns with high-brow deconstructions of the default CG Animation template and a nuanced discussion about faith and religion.
These films are all that I need, when I’m lying here in their arms.
Inside Out is beautiful.
